Today along with Heartfelt Creations I have a cute little project to share on this Inspiration Wednesday.
I am a dog lover. So this collection was just so easy for me to LOVE.
Our family has a furry, four legged member whose name is Kya. She often gets called by her nicknames, Snickers and Poochie. She is SO very loved and we just could NOT even imagine our lives without her.
We rescued Kya from a local shelter. She was only 7 months old when she joined our family. That is what inspired my card and mini gift jar today. I think when anyone joins a family, it should be celebrated.

My card base is 4.25×5.5, white cardstock. Cut out both copies of the card panel I used. One is kept whole, and the other I cut out the centre image and popped it up using 3D foam tape. But before you do that I created a layered border by adding the dark brown cardstock and the burlap string. Add chocolate pearls to the flower middles and the corners of the background.

Stamp and cut out the puppy in the suitcase image. Using watercolour pencils I coloured and shaded the image. Adhere to the card using 3D foam tape. Cut out the “You are “Pawsome” title strip, flag one end and add to your card.
3. The mini treat jar is very simple. I stamped and cut out the large dog bone, and added colour using ink and daubers. Stamp “Best Wishes” onto the bone, and punch a hole in one end for the tag to be tied to the jar using ribbon.
4. Adhere the paw print border strip around the lip of the jar. Using circle punches, cut out the green paw print image, and a larger circle of brown patterned paper. Adhere these to the top of the jar lid. Fill the jar with treats and you have a sweet gift.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you get a good snuggle from a furry friend very soon.
Awesome project! Love it!
