Creative Scrapbooker Magazine: A Closer Look Kitchen Layout

Today I thought I would give you a closer look at a layout that appeared in the Winter Issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.
Our assignment was, use something you find in the kitchen on your layout. I love fun challenges like this!

So here is what I created…


My “from the kitchen” item….pop can tabs.
I have even used them before as an embellishment if you can believe it?
They come in lots of colours these days, they make great ribbon charms and they add a little shine to your projects.
This time, I used them as a border accent along with buttons. A great pairing for a little boy layout.


Project Recipe

BoBunny- Toy Box Collection
patterned paper and coordinating stickers

Buttons and Pop Can Tabs

Cardstock- white, red, blue

Thickers- white
