Creative Scrapbooker Magazine: A Closer Look- Memorabilia Layout

Have you picked up the latest issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine?
Today I thought I would give a closer look at a layout that appears in the Summer 2017 issue of Creative Scrapbooker.

The assignment was to use Memorabilia on a project.
I knew exactly the layout I was going to create. I had been saving this pack of memorabilia for almost 5 years, waiting to do a layout. The photo and memorabilia were from our first big trip together to Victoria, B.C.

My memorabilia included:

A mixed media layout like this one is perfect for tucking bits and pieces. Using every little piece as a layer adding texture and interest.
