Heartfelt Creations: Festive Holly Rocking Horse

It’s Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.
Today I am sharing a little off-the-page project I created.
I love to create my own holiday decor, and my style is classic Christmas all the way….which makes Festive Holly just perfect! Here are all of the details.

HCPC-3791 Festive Holly and Cardinals Cling Stamps

HCPC-3793 Holly Berry Jingle Cling Stamps

HCD1-7145 Festive Holly and Cardinals Dies

HCD1-7147 Holly Berry Jingle Dies

HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit

Other Products Used:

CTMH Ink- Chocolate, Stickles- Christmas Red, DecoArt Paint (Dazzling Metallics- Gold, Multisurface Satin- White), Chameleon Pens/Pencil (1702 pencil, RD4, YG3), White Cardstock, Plain Pine Rocking Horse, White Lace, Red Mini Gems, Hot Glue

Instructions: My little rocking horse came in pieces, so I started by painting all of the pieces before I assembled it. Let dry. Assemble your pieces.

Stamp and die cut 1 set of just the bells from Holly Berry Jingle. I added just a thin layer of the gold paint to each bell. Stamp and die cut 2 of the large holly clusters and 1 of the small holly clusters. I added colour first using the dark green pencil for shading and then with my Chameleon pens. Shape all of your holly leaves. I snipped most clusters into pieces to suit the spaces I wanted them in. I adhered them to the rocking horse using hot glue. I added Stickles to all of the holly berries.

I added the bells to the clusters also using hot glue. Tie a bow around the middle post of the rocking horse. Then I added the red gems to the base of the rocking horse.

Thank you SO very much for stopping by!
