Other Products Used:

Chameleon Pens (YL2, BR5, Detail Pen, PK3, GR1), Tombow Dual Brush (977, 942, 992, 158), Cardstock- White, Stampin’ Up Ink- Early Espresso, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (EZ Runner Grand, 3D Foam Squares 1/2”, Thin 3D Foam Squares 1/4”)

Hang In There 2

Stamp and die cut 1 of each Monkey Trio, Hanging Monkey, Flower Chain, Banana, and Small Palm. Stamp and die cut 2 Large Palms. I added colour to my images using a combo of markers. Shape the flowers and palms and set aside. Fussy cut around the monkey trio. Add Prills to the middles of your flowers and when dry, cut the flowers apart.

I inked the edges of my card base. Using the plain edge border die from the Fleur Border Basics Dies, I cut a piece of dark green patterned paper for the front piece. For the middle piece I cut the polka dot patterned paper. For the largest curved piece I cut the dark brown patterned paper.

For the background of the card, I cut a piece of the light green patterned paper. Then found and cut out one of the 6×6 card designs, and cut it down slightly. Cut a 4×4 piece of light blue patterned paper. Adhere these layers together to the card base.

Add the Monkey Trio, 2 Palm Leaves, and the 3 flowers to the very front of the card. Find and cut out the “Hang in There” sentiment and flag one end. Add the third Palm Leaf in behind the front flap. Using 3D foam squares add the Hanging Monkey and Banana to the middle section of the card.

Here is another creation that you may have seen using the Kraft Shadowbox, from the Fold-Out Cards, and the Tropical Paradise Collection.

  1. I love how you used the dies as a background on the baby scrapbook page! I just got my first grandchild a week ago. I think I need to do that!

  2. Cute card,,,I can see changing the sentiment to Happy Birthday for a little boy. Wish Heartfelt had been around 44 years ago for my son’s birthday. Thanks

  3. Love the card with them great monkeys I own part of them.
The layout is very nice all of your projects are wonderfully done.

  4. I love the monkeys. I have the whole set and really have fun with them. Your card is beautiful. Thanks for the idea and here is to 20 more years of creating with Heartfelt Creations.

  5. Everything you’ve posted is just wonderful. The money card is so cute (LUV their little faces); the picture frame is colorful and fun, and the baby page is stunning with the die cut background. Beautiful work showcasing some wonderful products!

  6. Bonus time: three projects to be inspired by! Love the playful fun of the monkeys, thought the tropical frame was perfect for a vacation photo, but my favorite was the scrapbook layout. So often, I think that the layouts overwhelm the photo. Your layout complemented the photo perfectly.

  7. Beautiful scrapbook layout..Adorable tropical picture frame, feels like summer ..Also so cute your monkeys on the card.Great to see many ways of using HFC products..Happy 20th Birthday too..

  8. The monkeys are adorable! Heartfelt Creations paper pads are the best, thank you for showing more ways to use them and the border basics.

  9. Wow, you have been busy…….such gorgeous creations! Those monkeys are adorable and you’ve put so many details into that sweet card.

  10. What creative projects. The little monkeys are just adorable with the sweet interactive card and all the leafy details. Love the shadow box frame with the colorful tropical toucan and summer time feel. But my absolute favorite is the baby scrapbook page using the border dies as a background…so dainty and beautiful. Gorgeous work. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Happy Birthday Heartfelt Creations, Wishing you many many more years of creativity.
