12 Days of Snarky Hop

Today I am sharing a card created using a fun and snarky sentiment stamp from So Suzy Stamps. I don’t know about you, but sometimes you just need to giggle. Life can be pretty darn serious a lot of the time, so sometimes you just have to create something that you know will make a friend giggle. For instance…I could easily send this to a friend that works retail during the holiday season.

Here is the So Suzy Stamp that I used for this Snarky card:

This card was just SO simple to create. I really wanted to play up the irony of this snarky sentiment by adding it to a pretty serene patterned scene. The patterned paper is from Heartfelt Creations.

I added black ink from the words and dark green ink to the holly leaves, and stamped it straight to the patterned background.

Then I added red ink to just the ornament and stamped it on white cardstock. Cut it out and adhere it on top of the original image using 3D foam squares. Then I added red gems to the holly cluster at the top of the sentiment, and a gold gem to the ornament. I added Stickles to the trees.
