Heartfelt Creations: Sweet Peony Venice

It’s Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations and today I have another pretty layout created using the Sweet Peony Collection.

This collection’s soft and feminine tones just suited this photo so perfectly, I wanted to create another layout with Sweet Peony. Here are all of the details:

HFC-SPVeniceLO-2

The framed patterned paper is the background. Using Distress Oxide Inks (Aged Mahogany and Antique Linen) and a blending tool, blend a background in the middle of the patterned paper. Using the Tattered Angels Misters (Chalk and Shimmer Brown) splatter around the blended area. Let dry.

Mat the photo twice in white cardstock and distress the edges. Cut a piece of the green patterned paper that is 4.5×6.5, distress the edges.

Cut a strip of the light green striped patterned paper and flag both ends. Adhere to the layout using 3D Foam Tape. Cut a narrow strip of the yellow patterned paper that is 0.5×11 and adhere on top of the other patterned strip.

Add the matted photo and green patterned paper using Crafty Foam Tape.

Stamp and die cut 2 sets of small and 2 sets of large Sweet Peony using coral ink (Smoothie). Add colour to these images using ink and daubers (Smoothie and Rose Coral). Flip the images over and mist using a light pink mister (Blush).

Shape each flower and assemble the different sized blooms. Add gems and pearl stamen to the middle of each of the larger blooms.

Using a glue pen and Crystal Clear Glitter, add glitter to the tips of the flowers.

Stamp and die cut an assortment of leaves, 8 total using brown ink (Early Espresso). Add colour to the leaves using ink and daubers (Seaweed).

HFC-SPVeniceLO-3

Stamp and die cut 2 sets of Large and 2 sets of Small Sweet Peony images using brown ink (Early Espresso).

Add color to the images using burgundy ink (Baroque Burgundy). Flip the images over and mist the backs using the Raspberry mister.

Shape each flower and assemble the different sized blooms. Add gems and pearl stamen to the middle of each of the larger blooms.

Using Ivory Burlap String create 2 sets of loops and adhere to either side of the matted photo. Adhere the flowers to either side of the matted photo. 3 on the left and 2 on the right. Then I added the leaves.

Add gems to the top and sides of the layout frame.

Add the simple title using letter stickers.
