Scrapbook Adhesives Creates with Stampendous

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Stampendous blog hop. I love to collaborate with fabulous companies to create beautiful things.

Here is my holiday card that I created using Stampendous products.

Creative Time: 45 minutes
Skill Level: Intermediate
Other Products Used:
Blending Tool, Craft Mat, Burlap String, Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot, Walnut Stain, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap), Edge Distresser, White Cardstock, Embossing Pad, Chameleon Pens

The first thing I did to create my card was to stamp and emboss this image using detail black embossing powder from Stampendous. Then using Chameleon Pens I added colour to both images. One image, I coloured the entire thing and the other I added colour to just the pieces that I would but cutting out and popping up.

Then I cut out the pieces that would be popped up.

Adding dimension to a stamped image is such an easy, yet effective way to add WOW to your card.

The next step was to create my blended background with Distress Oxide inks. I always use my stamped image as a guide as to where the blended background highlight would be. I also used another stamp from that holiday set to add some detail in the bottom right hand corner of the card.

I grabbed a white cardstock tag from my stash and stamped and embossed the holiday sentiment with the same Stampendous detail black embossing powder. I inked the edges and adhered the tag to the left hand side of the card using 3D Foam Squares.

Then I added the layered stamped image to the right hand side of the card using 3D Foam Squares.

Using my E-Z Runner Ultra adhesive I added burlap string to the top and bottom of the tag. The Ultra adhesive is just PERFECT for all of my ribbon and trim needs.

Another cardstock layer, and a couple of burlap string bows and VOILA. My holiday card is complete thanks to Stampendous and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and be sure to check out ALL of the other beautiful inspiration included in the hop.
