Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps: Merry Christmas Rocket

Hello Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps friends! The holidays are JUST around the corner, so I thought I would share another super fun Christmas card for a little holiday giggle.
I love to mix and match bits and pieces of stamp images and sentiments. This card does just that for the main image, as well as the holiday sentiment.

Other Products Used:

Cardstock (White, Black), Archival Ink (Jet Black), Distress Oxide Ink (Fired Brick, Black Soot, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint), Stickles (Star Dust), Chameleon Pens, Ranger Black Embossing Powder, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (3D Foam Squares, E-Z Runner Permanent), Tim Holtz Blending Kit

I used the Gnome hat, and gift pile to create my Rocket mash-up. I love Rocket, but guns aren’t for Christmas. Like the movie “A Christmas Story”, “You’ll shoot your eye out!”. I love to take multiple stamps and create fun new layered images. Add dimension between those layers using 3D foam squares.

I added colour to my stamped images using Chameleon Pens. Than added a few glitter bits to the gift pile using Stickles.

I created a simple blended background for my card using Distress Oxide Inks and blending tools. Then using Stickles, I added a little sparkle around the edge of the blended cardstock layer.

The mash-up sentiment is added to the card using black embossing powder.
