Heartfelt Creations: O Holy Night Cards

Welcome back Heartfelt Creations friends!
Christmas is SO close I think I can smell the egg nog and Christmas cookies. So today I thought I would share 2 cards that I created using the O Holy Night Collection.

Cardstock- White, Stampin’ Up Ink (Cucumber Crush, Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red), Gold Gems, Green Silk Ribbon, Corner Rounder, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (3D Foam Squares, E-Z Runner Grand, Dual Tip Glue Pen)

The card base is 6×6 in white cardstock. Cut out the 6×6 patterned card base from the O Holy Night Collection. Cut a piece of red patterned paper that s 4×4 and round the corners. Adhere to the middle of the card using 3D foam squares.

Die cut the intricate ornament layer in white cardstock, and die cut the ornament base in dark green patterned paper. Adhere these layers together using 3D foam squares. Adhere to the middle of the card using 3D foam squares.

Stamp and die cut 1 set of the small and medium poinsettias and holly clusters using dark brown ink (Early Espresso) onto white cardstock. Add colour using ink and daubers. Red ink to the poinsettias (Riding Hood Red) and green to the holly (Cucumber Crush).

Shape the poinsettias and holly using the 3D shaping mold. Assemble the layered poinsettia. Add Prills to the middle using liquid adhesive. Let dry.

Find and cut out the “Warmest Holiday Wishes” sentiment. Adhere to the die cut ornament.

Add the poinsettia and holly to the top of the ornament. Create a bow using the green silk ribbon, and add to the very top of the ornament.
Add gold gems to the die cut ornament and the 4 corners of the 6×6 card.

Cardstock (White, Red, Dark Green), Stampin’ Up Ink (Cucumber Crush, Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red), Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (Dual Tip Glue Pen, 3D Foam Squares, Creative Photo Corners- White), Ivory Burlap String

The card base is 4.25×5.5 in white cardstock. Cut a piece of red cardstock that is 4.25×5.5 adhere to the card front.Find and cut out the 2 patterned card bases that I used. From one simply cut out the plaid border strip. From the full piece, using the coordinating circle die, cut out the centre image. Using the next sized circle up, die cut a red cardstock circle. Adhere these 2 together.

Adhere the card base to the card using white photo corners, adhere the plaid border strip to the card using 3D foam squares. Adhere the layered circle to the card using 3D foam squares.

Stamp and die cut 1 set of the small and medium poinsettias and holly clusters using dark brown ink (Early Espresso) onto white cardstock. Add colour using ink and daubers. Red ink to the poinsettias (Riding Hood Red) and green to the holly (Cucumber Crush).

Shape the poinsettias and holly using the 3D shaping mold. Assemble the layered poinsettia. Add Prills to the middle using liquid adhesive. Let dry.

Die cut 2 of the “Silent Night” images, one in white and one in dark green. Adhere these together using a glue pen, just slightly offset, to create a shadow look. Adhere this to the card using the glue pen again. Add 1 medium and 2 small layered poinsettias to the card, then add holly leaves to suit. Tie a small burlap string bow and adhere to the right of the layered circle.
