Hello seaside friends!
Are you as in love with the new Seabreeze Collection from Heartfelt Creations as I am?!? This is a stunning collection and so beautifully fun to create with. This week I have a monochromatic creation to share. I wanted to create a project with layers, yet with a simplistic monochromatic colour scheme. The images are so beautiful, they can stand on their own in simplistic beauty.

TSSZ41 Staz On Ink- Timber Brown
Cardstock (Kraft, White, Brown), Paper Distresser, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Petite, 3D Foam Squares, Thin 3D Foam Squares), Natural Burlap String
The card base is 6×12 in brown cardstock folded in half. Cut a piece of the tan patterned paper that is 5.75×5.75 and adhere to the card base. Cut a pice of kraft cardstock that is 5.25×5.25 and a piece of white cardstock that is 5.5×5.5 and distress it’s edges.
To the kraft cardstock, stamp the sailboat image to the left hand side using brown ink (Staz On- Timber Brown), then stamp the lighthouse image next to it, lining up the lines of the water as closely as possible. In the top right hand corner, stamp some clouds.
Stamp and die cut 1 set of the seagulls, sand pipers and seagrass. Stamp and die cut 2 s of the beach fence, all onto kraft cardstock using brown ink. From one of the beach fence images, cut off just the sand. Using a dauber and the same brown ink, dust the edges of the die cut images slightly to add the look of shadow.
Add 2 seagulls around the sailboat using thin 3D foam squares. Add the full beach fence image to the bottom right hand corner using thin 3D foam squares. Add the beach grass slightly overlapping using thicker foam squares and the piece of sand you cut out overlapping again using thicker foam squares again. Then add the sandpipers in the bottom left hand corner of the kraft cardstock. Dust the edges of the full kraft cardstock piece and adhere to its white cardstock mat. Then adhere that to the card base using crafty foam tape.
Add a bow of burlap string to the top of the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
