Hello Heartfelt friends! Today I have another pretty little layout to share featuring the new Floral Butterfly Collection from Heartfelt Creations. Here are the details.
Floral Butterfly Paper Collection
Small Floral Butterfly Cling Stamps
Large Floral Butterfly Cling Stamps
Small Floral Butterfly Die
Large Floral Butterfly Die
Eyelet Lace Frame Die
Zig Clean Color Markers
Black Embossing Powder, Cardstock- White, Embossing Pad, Paper Distresser, Waterbrush, Gems, Die Cut Title, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Ultra, Creative Photo Corners White, Adhesive Dots Mini), cardstock- White
The patterned paper with the butterflies in the corners is the background. But I wanted to cover up most of those butterflies. First cut a square that is 3”, then cut diagonally to created the base of the corners. Add strips of distressed patterned paper to those corners. Yellow, teal, purple and then blue. Snip off the ends of the strips then add to the corners of the layout covering the butterfly images. Find and cut out the purple lacy border strip and add to the plaid corner piece.
Mat the cropped photo in white cardstock, then die cut the Eyelet Lace Frame from white cardstock. Add white photo corners to the photo. Add the matted photo to the frame using foam tape. Then cut a mat of teal patterned paper for the framed photo. Mat that also in white cardstock. Adhere to the middle of the layout.
Stamp and die cut 2 sets of all of the Small Floral Butterfly images and the mini butterflies from the Large Floral Butterfly set using an embossing pad and black embossing powder. I added colors to the butterflies using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush.
Pink Butterflies- Pink, Yellow, Light Carmine
Purple Butterflies- Cobalt Blue, Light Green, Violet, Persian Blue
Green Butterflies- Cobalt Blue, Light Green, Pale Green
Shape the butterflies slightly using your shaping tools.
Add the die cut title piece to the bottom left hand corner of the layout.
Add the butterflies diagonally across the layout. Then I added coordinating gems around the butterflies.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
