Let me introduce you to Celebrate the Season from Heartfelt Creations.

Celebrate:Poinsettia-1

When this collection arrived I browsed through my winter and Christmas photos that I had on hand. This one jumped out because of the colour in the church alone. Add the fact that it was a gorgeous Christmas musical celebration, and the 2 beautiful ladies featured. This photo was perfect for my creation.

Celebrate:Poinsettia-2

Instructions:

Stamp and cut out 3 sets of Sparkling Poinsettias. Stamp and cut out 2 sets of the small poinsettias from Celebrate the Season. Cut out 1 Arianna Lace die from white cardstock. I added colour to my poinsettias using ink and daubers. I had light pink in the middle of each of my flowers. I used a combination of purples and teals to colour the rest of the petals. I used 2 colours of green to colour the leaves. Shape the flowers and cut apart the leaves and shape them as well. Assemble the flowers using 3D foam tape and hot glue. I added beads to the middle of the smallest flowers using liquid adhesive. I added Stickles to the edges of the larger poinsettias.

Start with the background patterned paper with poinsettias in the corner, I cut it down to 11.5×11.5. Then I cut around the poinsettias in the corner with an exacto knife, just where the purple pattern gets tucked under. Cut the purple patterned paper to 9.5×9.5 and round the corners. Adhere these layers together, tucking the one purple corner under the poinsettia pattern.

Cut the light teal pattern to 5.5×8.5, round the corners and adhere to the right hand side of the layout. Cut the light purple pattern to 3.5×8 and adhere it across the light teal pattern. Cut a strip of the dark teal pattern that is 2” wide, and cut out the purple border strip. I matted the border strip in white and mauve cardstock. Layer these strips together along with the white mesh ribbon and adhere to the layout. Find and cut out 1 large and 1 small tag, 1 ticket and the small teal bordered journal block. These get tucked around the matted photo. I matted my 4×6 photo in white, mauve, purple and white cardstock. Adhere the matted photo to the layout using 3D foam tape. Cut the lace die in half and tuck half at the top and half at the bottom of the matted photo. Add the baker’s twine to the large tag.

Add the poinsettias to the corner of the layout and one small poinsettia on the right hand side of your matted photo.
